Founded in 2013 by Ojan Missaghi and David Wachs, Toric Films was built from a shared passion for storytelling, filmmaking, music, and visual art. Coming from backgrounds in advertising, production, post production, music, and entrepreneurship, Ojan and David combined their creative instincts and hands on industry experience to create a company focused on meaningful, visually driven content.

Ojan Missaghi began his career in marketing, sales, and advertising before moving into film production and post, bringing a strong understanding of both the creative and business side of filmmaking.

David Wachs brings years of experience across film and television, both in front of and behind the camera. His background as an actor, producer, and musician brings a well-rounded creative perspective to the company’s development and production slate.

Together, they built Toric Films as an independent production company dedicated to developing and producing feature films, commercials, branded content, and original media with strong cinematic identity and emotionally grounded storytelling.

As Toric Films has grown, so has our reach. We have expanded across multiple states, building relationships with reliable crews in regions that offer strong production incentives. Beyond U.S. borders, we have ventured into international territories to take advantage of what each country uniquely has to offer. We go where the work calls us, and we already have the right team waiting when we get there.

Toric Films approaches commercial production with a cinematic eye and a strong understanding of audience engagement. Our team develops visually driven campaigns that connect brands with audiences through storytelling, emotion, and high-end production value.

We bring that same creative approach to Music Videos, Television, Digital Campaigns, and New Media, collaborating with artists, brands, and next-generation creators to build distinctive visual identities across traditional and emerging platforms.
